Day Two: 4X100 Freestyle Relay
Sunday, July 29, 2012 @ 8:33 PM

USMOST finished second today in the 4X100 Freestyle Relay. The silver finish left many upset, questioning not only the individuals who were chosen to swim finals but also the order of who swam when.  But when you break down the splits no matter how you look at it, Team USA would have left with the silver medal.

France swam to gold in a winning time of 3:09.93, USA with a time of 3:10.38 and Russia bronze with 3:11.41

USA split with times as follows:
Nathan Adrian: 47.89
Michael Phelps: 47.15
Cullen Jones: 47.6
Ryan Lochte: 47.74

Many are calling this a reverse of what happened in Beijing because France caught us in the end when Agnel split 46.74 while everyone sat in shock of what was playing out in front of them.  Despite the nay sayers there is a lot of swimming left, and room for more medals. Of course gold would have sweetened the finish but silver isn't too shabby.
