ABOUT US

Reezy Nation is comprised of five individuals spread across the United States. Our friendships formed because of swimming and continue to grow stronger with each passing year. We each have our ‘favorite’ swimmers but agree that Ryan possess the free spirit and big hearted nature we wish more people had. We blog and follow swimming for the fun and patriotism of it all.

Day two in Shanghai- Prelims for the 200m Freestyle
Sunday, July 24, 2011 @ 8:31 PM

Ryan swam alongside fellow teammate Michael Phelps in the 200m free prelims tonight. Ryan finished first with a time of 1:46.34 while Michael came in fifth with a time of 1:46.98. The finals, no doubt, will be cut throat seeing as Michael Phelps will face Paul Biedermann of Germany who came in 2nd behind Ryan with a time of 1:46.56, for the first time since Roma. I can't speak for everyone but I know I'm on pins and needles waiting for finals!

Ryan also picked up his first medal, a bronze, from the 4X100 relay after swimming prelims for team USA.

We're going to try and update daily during Worlds so please check back in with us, in the meantime, enjoy some photos from prelims.

Here are a few pictures of Ryan gearing up for Worlds from the press conference on Friday and a training session at the Oriental Sports Complex. Love the American flag "swag" shoes! Nice touch Reezus.
